    Question

Hello, I have a 92 Civic SI hatch w/ 95 GSR engine and am looking into purchasing the Greddy GSR Turbo Kit w/ intercooler. I am just looking for a good Street/Strip setup. Anyone have any experience with this setup? How do you like it? Thanks.

    i concur.
i thought about greddy, but the amt of work u put into that is about the same with DRAG....and the potential for DRAG power is more than you'll want .....err i mean need smile
JRSC is about greddy power right? but greddy is costly espeically with the IC and electornics

from the sounds of it w/ greddy saying he should be making 222hp?
    your best with a JRSC!
    big turbo(greedy)vsjrsc(NO LAG!)

    J R S C !!!!! no doubt or look at other turbos!
if your a dohc guy (which i see you are) then you will make 220hp plus all that torque, thats what we all want!

greddy -spools at like 3100,i have heard
    jrsc- 900? WHAT!

greddy you heard it reliable ,right?
i heard the same but i hear people have bug they had to work out also.

jrsc sounds like the way to go! oh yeah save 700.00 too!
your setup sounds nice! si hatch/gsr- w/jrsc?

On the plus side to the Greddy Turbo kit is the ease of turning the boost up or down. The FCU is rumored to be good for 13lbs.

I got the Greddy kit because, I feel, it is the middle of both the JRSC and DRAG kits. It has much better low-mid range than DRAG and top-end potential over the JRSC. Now, if that damn kit gets carb approval, I'd be much happier.

I am not too knowledgable on turbos; however; I think everyone would be in agreement that you should buy the Drag kit rather than the Greddy.

The Greddy kits use a much smaller turbo, and provide much less power than Drag. JRSC and Greddy make similar power gains. For the hassle of a turbo, I would get the Drag for REAL power.
